MULATA IS ON THE WAY

According to the Cubans Mulata is definitely the best rum. Thanks to a risky business of the distillery with the company Tecnoazucar which supplies 90% of the alcohol used in the production of all Cuban rums and which introduced the brand name Mulata in 1993, there is an agreement allowing Mulata to cross the Cuban frontiers. Soon after its introduction, the brand Mulata has been acknowledged among the locals and has taken the second place on the Cuban market.

Owing to the genuineness of its production process and fresh stock used for its production, Mulata is one of the few rums which can call itself with the original name "Ron".

The Mulata line is based on a special rum created by a master of the distillery of Tecnoazucar using the acquavite (a kind of spirit) from the Cuban sugar-cane syrup as the material which then ripens in barrels made of white oak wood. This process guarantees a unique and outstanding aroma as well as an irreplaceable and exceptional touch of the final product.

MULATA - CHAMPION AMONG RUMS

We are pleased that a precious jewel - having a form of a bottle of the Cuban rum Mulata - is within your reach.

This champion among rums has been playing an important role for Cuban generations for hundreds of years. This rum made the hard work on the fields more pleasant for the Cubans and it accompanied them also on their family celebrations when the combination of rum with the wild Cuban temperament produced the Cuban rhythms of rumba and salsa.

With the arrival of the black to the island a unique religion originated in Cuba. The system of faith and rituals was based on worshipping of humanized demons called "orichas" who personified natural forces. On the so-called santeric ceremonies people danced accompanied by the sounds of African instruments and they would get into trance with the help of music and rum. This combination which surely enhanced the Cuban temperament is obvious everywhere in Cuba.

Charming colourful streets which have a certain patina owing to the humid and salty air, the omnipresent music and the swift Cubans who cannot get flabbergasted by anything remind us Europeans that we should not chase after the mammon of money but that it is necessary to hold on, to smile, to have a glass of rum with our friends and to realize that the life is not long and we should not walk hastily through it when we can dance through it with elegance and grace.
